Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will follow ISO 9001:2015 standards for manufacturing and record keeping and are responsible for measuring and testing manufactured materials to ensure strict adherence to specifications. The role requires you to inform machine operators of any deviation from specification, ensure corrective action resolves any deviation and inform the Quality Assurance Supervisor and management of any issues that cannot be immediately resolved. A key objective is to achieve the highest quality product while maximizing productivity through established testing and inspection standards.

Reports to: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Functions

• Perform first piece, in process and final inspection to ensure product quality using product drawings and specifications
• Use test and/or measurement equipment in the inspection process
• Work with production on quality issues and communicate with departmental managers
• Review of inspection data obtained through inspection and testing
• Assist in performing quality audits or internal processes
• Ability to perform administrative functions as needed
• Review and ensure production orderdocumentation is accurate, then close-out the orders.

Additional skills (Not Required)

• Previous employment experience in a Quality role
• Understanding of the manufacturing environment
• Use of ERP systems (Delmia Works knowledge a plus!)
